John was sat in his seat when A you lt shouted to him, "Sir the USS Tridant, Trinity and Valkyrie are aproaching the station" he informd John, "Understood ensign, let them know of our status." he repliled. John then left for and enterd his readyroom.
=^= All Pheonix Crew report aboard, we will be leaving dock as soon as the USS Tridant, Trinity and Valkyrie are ready, please be aboard within half an hour.=^= John then went back onto the bridge.

Alex heard the annoucment, he quickly finished doing the internal scans and ran down t the docking station, there he was greeted by a Lieutenant who was checking everyone who was coming on board, "Lieutenant please scan all who come aboard, make sure they are not Romulans." he orderd, Just as he said it he whiped out his tricorder and got a strange reading from the Lieutenant, he then turned round and tapped his comm badge =^= Security team to the docking station 7 please=^= The Lieutenant heard what he said and began to run, knocking over several people in his path, Munro found it difficult to safely take him out with his phaser, he escaped.
Alex ran over to the security team whho had just arrived, "We have a security breech, a romulan posing as a Lieutenant is aboard, contain this threat at all costs, do not let him get away!" he said.

=^=sir, engineerin g reports ready...when you get a chance could you and Mr. Munro come down to engineering...i have something that you'll find of interest=^=
after greeting the captains of their escorts, John and Alex made their way down to Engineering
"I wonder what this is about?" said Alex
"I'm just as curious as you are." said John
they entered the engine room and saw Narsil working in the small command center near the warp core.
"Hello lieutenant"said John "Whats all this-"
"About?" Narsil finished for him "Thats what this is about" he said pointing at a small device standing on a nearby engineering station.
"Lieutenant..." said John eyeing the device "If thats what i think it is then you are in alot of trouble"
"It is what you think it is" said Narsil "A Romulan inspired cloaking device"
"But how-" said Alex
"we built it" said Narsil "its not a very good one to be fair, but it will keep us cloaked for about 6 hours, it should allow us to get the prisoners without being noticed, but it won't last long enough to get us back out of Romulan space. My personal suggestion would be to take this route." he indicated a map being displayed on a large screen behind them
"But our escort won't have this advantage, its harply worth the bother to cloak if our convoy will draw attention anyways..." said John frowning
"To true, heres the answer" said narsil as he tapped a button on the table the device was sitting on "See this region...its known as the Artolian Rift, high levels of radiation make it impossible to scan this region, and its visibly dense enough to ensure the ships won't be spotted by the naked eye" the button had caused a region a number of light years inside Romulan space to be magnified.
"so we have our escort hide there and they can cover our retreat after we get the admirals" said Alex
"exactly" said Narsil
"good job Lieutenant"said John as he turned to leave
"No problem, and admiral, we're ready to go" said Narsil with a smile, still sitting on the edge of the table in the Engineering command center
"Thank you Lieutenant" said John

John then left main engineering for the bridge, "we are to be leaving dock in one hour, so there for we will be needing to hold the briefing in 15 - 30 mins, could you run back and let Narsil know?"
"Yeah of course I can sir, see you back on the bridge" Alex replied
Getting into a turbolift John went back to the bridge where he was greeted by the Tridant's captain, Jordan Levi, the Trinity's Captain, Andrew Webster and the Valkyrie's captain, Carl Foster.
"We are here for the brifing sir" spoke Captain Jorden Levi, or is it to be done on the station, that way all off the senior officer can attend, instead of having to do seperate briefings on our ships?" he then added.
"Thats not a bad idea" John repleyed, "I will go and see if ts possible, I will contact you when I have found the outcome" he added.
The 3 captains made there way down to the transporter room, John then went in to his read room to try and secure a briefing room aoard the station. arond 20 minutes later John came out, "Nik please let the other captains know that we have secured a brifing room aboard the station, its Brifing room 3B" he said, John then made a 2nd ship wide annocment, =^= All senior personel report to Briefing room 3B on the station, in 15 mins=^=

Narsil walked into the breifing room with Alex and with a nod to the captains and admirals already sitting there, sat down.
Alex sat down next to him and leaned over to speak to him.
"I didn't know you knew how to make a cloaking device" said Alex with a grin
"I knew the basic theory of the working...but Romulan secrecy has done its job...i have no clue as to how a cloaking device is constructed on the base level...you'll have to thank Ensign Vhall for the device in engineering"
"Your ACEO?" said Alex with a frown...when Narsil nodded Alex looked shocked "how does she know how to make a cloaking device?"
"Shes a Romulan" said Narsil simply "She worked at the Imperial Cloaking Technology Development Academy on Romulus for 30 years...needless to say she knows her way around a cloaking device...I beleive she became bored with work she was allowed to do and immigrated to the Federation where she joined Starfleet soon afterwards, I beleive she graduated top of her class at the Academy"
"How do we know shes not leaking information to the Romulans?" said Alex
"Shes not."said Narsil
"As much as i appreciate the loyalty you have for your friends, you can't possibly know that." said Alex
"I can and do" said Narsil turning his head to face Alex for the first time during their whispered conversation.
"How?" said Alex rather aggresively
"...Thats Classified." said Narsil as he turned his head forward again to look at the captains and admirals sitting on the other side of the large oval table.
"Class-...what the Hell do you mean classified, you know something i don't and i'm your supperior officer!" said Alex in an angry whisper.
"Yes i do... I doubt whether Admiral Roberts is privvy to the information i'm privvy to" said Narsil
Alex opened his mouth to respond but admiral Roberts got up at that moment to begin the breifing.

B-4 enterd the Briefing room on the starbase, the only people who where there was Admiral Roberts and Admiral Greenwood, he entered and sat down near to where the 2 Admirals where stood.
He over heard John telling Nik about the Cloaking deviethat had been created, B-4 wonded about the escorting ships, what if they are noticed, as they are not cloked. momens later Narsil and Munro enterd the room, again talking about the cloaking device.
Then the 3 captains enterd, along with their crews, it was the Pheonix crew that began to enter last, first Isis and then the new chif operatons officer and Science officer.
A few mintes later John began the briefing.

With everyone in the briefing room John began the briefing. "I am sure you all know about the task ahead, but I will refresh your memory" John began "Around a week ago the Pheonix discoverd a new Romulan threat, since then we all know what has happend" he continued.
"heres the basics of what we are to do, The Trinisty, Trident and Valkyrie are to escort us, the Pheonix into Romulan space. There the selected personel will be beamed down on to the Remus homeworld" he said, "Isis it will be your responsibility to make the away team look like remans" He informed.
"are there any questions?"

"You just expect the Rumulans to let 4 Federation battleships to waltz into the Romulan home system?" said Captain Foster incredulously
"We have an alternative plan, should things get nasty."said Narsil "May I?"
"Of Course." said John taking a seat
"As you can see." said Narsil bringing up a map of Romulan space on the viewscreen at the head of the table "Tha Artolian Rift, a type 3 nebula, spans the distance between neutral zone and Romulus high levels of radiation ensure that scanners can't penetrate the field, if we run into trouble our escort can hide there."
"What about the Phoenix?" said Foster
"We've been able to aquire an approximation of a Romulan cloaking device." said John "If trouble should arise the Phoenix can cloak and take the last leg of the journey alone, then the escort will cover our retreat, that is if we run into trouble we can't handle."

"If that happends Lieutenant, we ALL get the hell outa there" John replyed to Narsils Comment, "If possible we must keep QSD operational at all times, as it will be almst certainly needed at some point" John then informed each of the CEO's.

"How do ou intend on getting the Admirals back?" asked Austin Chang, the CTSO of the Valkyrie, "If you dont mind sir" said Munro, gaining a Nod of approval from John he went and stood at the front of the room, "The Ctso's of each of the vessels, Pheonix, Trident, Trinity and Valkyrie will be testing the new armour deveeloped." he said.
"This armour inclides a personal cloaking device, as well as emergancey transporters, but as we will be carrying around 10 of theese each any way, it doesnt matter too much." he informed them, "we will be transported down to the surface, from what we can gather there are 3 complex's, so we must clear each compund, and try to locate any Admirals possible."
Munro then haned padds out to each of the CTSO's and sat down.

there were a number of PADDs in the middle of the table that had the specs on the prototype cloak armor. Narsil reached out and took one.
"hmmm...I'd like to have a look at one of these suits."said Narsil
"I assure you the technology is quite safe" said the CEO of the Trinity Steven Smith
"I'm sure it is" said Narsil "But it is the perogative of the executive engineering officer of a fleet to scrutinize any technologies"
"Yes Sir, right you are sir" said Smith in an almost embarassed tone.
"I'd also like to accompany the away team with my ACEO." said Narsil
"Why?" said Roberts
"You don't really expect the Admirals to be under light guard?...knowing the romulans, they'll be under the guard of a whole host of technologies and soldiers...between myself and my ACEO we have in depth knowledge of all technologies the romulans might use to guard them...and we are the most experienced engineers in the field of weapons and tactical situations."

There was none, John his personel, and left the other ship captains to do the same. B-4 left and headed for the Pheonix, walking aboard he found a sligjt melfunction with a console on the wall, =^= Mr Brozgal, please have the console close to the docking port repaird, it appears not to be working =^=.

B-4 then carried on up towards the bridge, there he took over the operations console, and began to do some rutine scan before departure.

=^= Mr Brozgal, please have the console close to the docking port repaird, it appears not to be working =^=.
Narsil heard the order and sighed...that console had been malfuntioning all day long...there was nothing for it...he'd have to take the whole console apart and go through every component until he found the malfuntioning part and switch it out...probly just another isolinear chip **** it he thought savagly.
he headed up to deck 18 where the main docking ports were.
